Shiur Alef

Our Shiur Alef students enter the Beit Midrash for the first time as mature women, capable and independent. We pray that they may find their home in the world of Torah, and a place to call their own.

Our curriculum for Shiur Alef focuses on creating a space for students that will enable them to delve into their limmud and devote themselves to it, to develop independent learning skills and to feel a sense of belonging within the Beit Midrash.

We view Gemara as the cornerstone for learning and growth within the world of Torah study. Alongside chavruta study and shiurim as a whole group, each student at Drisha is offered one-on-one mentorship and a personally tailored study course. This ensures that every student, of every background and with any level of previous limmud experience, can progress in her learning and succeed.
